This has completely taken a turn into a comedy of errors. I was initially fictionally concerned about Mark’s impending death (not a spoiler- you are told this will happen immediately) but now our POV heroine has somehow made herself extraordinarily naïve/ignorant and I am waiting giggly for the slasher to come around the hallway into the kitchen. I have never seen a mash up like this! I don’t know what to think!
