Notes of GOT, and a beauty and the beast (I hate everyone but you) trope. Was not expecting such gruesomeness. FMC shares similarities to Maomao and Mizu (iykyk)

It’s the 80s. No phones- The Cotswolds, events and dinners, fox hunts, polo matches, rich British people who love horses, classism, infidelity, and the peanut gallery

A slow start can be worth it for rich narration and well-developed characters. The distinct tones Mr. Tim gives each character just makes the time passing more immersive with each chapter. Love a “fated-daughters and their familiar” trope; An animated series by Dory Whynot, similar to Blue Eyed Samurai, would be amazing.

Tim Curry narration feels like a warm hug :,)

There’s three more parts… Just when you think this can’t get worse, there can’t be more. The characters are grossed out and uncomfortable, I’m grossed out and uncomfy but I can’t put this down.

Not one for self help books or religious self help but this touched me and I’ll keep going back to it and recommending it as much as I can.

I love the characters so far. I really enjoy how the author goes back and fourth between young Locke and adult Locke. As a child, even though he’s lacking guidance and a mess, it almost seems like he was born to be a crime lord, haha. He found his calling by, I don’t wanna say being in the right place at the right time for obvious reasons, but something to that affect. I’m excited to see more!
