This is my first Isabel Cañas and I'm SOOOOO mad it's taken me this long to get to her books bc I'm obsessed. It's intentionally a slow burn and the Gothic vibes are immaculate. I love that instead of a haunted house It's like the mine itself is the sentient mystical space.
