Really interesting how many parallels to 2020 from a zombie book that came out in 2010. On the other hand, some of it feels dated with all the talk of "bloggers," especially as how they act would make them "influencers" in the modern parlance.

Incredible so far. The indigenous-centric perspective is great. Going through the different European relationships and styles of colonization as well as how those relationships were shaped by the specific indigenous groups they encountered is so good. One of the most technical histories I've read in a long time, but really really good.
