I just can't connect with this story. I have listened to an hour and 45 minutes so far. I am so bored. Guess I will quit and listen to something else.

I'm having difficulty reading this book because so far there are no examples to look at. This makes the descriptions really hard to visualize and understand.

Black Slumber by Helen Scott
I really enjoyed this story and would be interested in reading more. I felt invested in it and wanted to see the princes live and be able to get back at those who betrayed her. Well written tale.

Unsanctified by Kat Parish
This story was okay, by I didn't feel connected to it so I was rather bored by it. Much of the story felt like a report of what had happened rather than an active story. I didn't like any of the characters, and am grateful to be moving on to the next tale.

I'm having a really tough time getting into this one. I'm going to keep trying for now though!

I've tried really hard to get into this book, but just can't do it. I want to find out what happens next, but I also don't. Maybe it's just TOO realistic for me, I don't know. Especially with the Covid-19 threat we have going on right now. In any case, I'm going to let this one go unfinished.

Library book, I have to return, but I'll finish someday!

I'm rather bored by this book. I hate leaving a book unfinished but several times I have contemplating giving this one up. I really dislike the main characters, especially Harek.

This is interesting, but I'm having a hard time reading it. I know that it is supposed to make you feel good, being able to make connections with loved ones that have passed, but it makes me sad. I've always been someone that tears up easily, and this definitely does it for me.

This is the first physical book I've read in a long time, and I'm enjoying it immensely. I saw it in the new books area of the library and just had to check it out since this is an author I love reading. Great so far!

I'm only a few minutes into this book and I totally love Jina! She's awesome!

Having a really hard time getting very far into this one, and am not really enjoying it. This one could really use some editing. I'm curious about what's going to happen, so I'll keep reading for now.

I'm already bored... this book sounded so promising but so far it is the same thing over and over. Emma thinks about and worries over Luke, Luke can't wait to be done with his assignment to see Emma. Emma talks about Luke to her friends, Luke talks about Emma to his friend or his dad. There's no description, I couldn't tell you what anything looks like except Luke's dog. Hoping I can get through this soon.

Huh... I've heard of suffocating someone with a cushion... but how do you choke someone with a cushion?

Ugh... the way this is written really turns me off. I want to find out what happens, but the slingshot emotions and actions that make no sense are really bugging me.

Really enjoying this story! It's well-written, not a lot of grammar and spelling errors, and I can't wait to see what happens. I just had a laugh over a phrase that I can totally relate to at times, "January was always a big pile of cold suck as far as Cat was concerned." Funny!

Sigh.

I'm pretty good at suspending disbelief and simply enjoying a story. I can't do it with this one. I'm committed to finishing it, but I really wish I didn't have to.

Kind of bored so far. :-(

Totally bored....

Not sure I'm really liking character "Jackson". I guess we'll see.

Feeling very confused...there is so much switching back and forth in point of view and in time that I'm lost. Really not sure what is going on.

Having a really hard time getting into this one. I'm not really liking the doppelganger character, though it seems to be nicer than the rest of its breed. The fact that it doesn't want to kill is commendable.

Not quite as sure of the third story, but it was definitely interesting!

So far, I'm really loving this book. "Alpha and Omega" and "Inhuman" were absolutely fantastic, and I can't wait to read more about those characters.
