this is a possible dnf. it starts immediately with the body of murdered woman and a crime investigation which is already blehhhhh, and the writing is a lot for something that already almost tapped me out with crime bs.

It couldnt possibly be related to ego and power hungry narcissist making decisions rather than science and evidence right?

like, you can have characters with no empathy or interest in other people, but you probably shoulnd't have them narrate your book.
