born rich, never work for anything, doesnt like women, only spends time with men, is proud to be considered an "honorary man" AND shes anti womens suffrage because, although SHE is smart enough to make good choices, so many women are too stupid and busy caring for kids to understand politics, so, um, yeah this book about a victorian woman helping to make borders in the mid east is going exactly as expected.
