It feels like a general history book: witnessed last execution in France, fought for the Finnish in the Winter War, dead-end jobs with wonders of future

Interesting idea: Think of the future in life and subtract all change, then you find how absurd or not absurd the world without change would be.
After you have done that; then you can think of what changes would be absolutely crucial for the current state to align with the most likely curve for future. All this depends on the capability of knowing the general trend of future.

So I learned/revisited:

Software engineering starts with the specifications and then fitting specifications to technologies. Not other way around and that: if we don’t have a person who has done the project or similar before then we can’t take estimates seriously and indeed for the last point: the author mentioned that if we don’t know the deadline of the project components then we have a failed project.

The author suggest that government should open up an agency to reign down terrible condition of cybersecurity on products made by the market. Author never suggested giving people mandatory classes in school on cybersecurity in order for market to have more informed customers.
Which I would say is better option as knowledge about this is darn important for modern world.
Double the ignorance; double the fall.
