I appreciate giving characters (esp traumatized ones) room to breathe, but i am also a little bored by the pace of the story atm

this is well written and an interesting premise but i am finding it a bit difficult to scrounge up a lot of sympathy for a rich white lady. she was raised working class by a single mother so there’s def socioeconomic and gender dynamics at play but i’m also like girl figure it out u got the money🤡

this is a good contemporary ya, but i’m a little underwhelmed in the romance department
