I am so fascinated by the decision to make the pretty popular girl the one who writes manga best suited for Garo. For all those who don't know, Garo was the largest weird, experimental manga publisher in Japan. I just cannot picture the most popular girl in art school writing experimental manga about cave men. And yet she does. I don't get it. She's not weird. Not even a little bit.

I would like to never have to explain this plot to anyone, ever. I am very confused how someone sat down and wrote this and thought up this story. It feels like if you asked a 3 year old to come up with a plot at random and then someone decided to make a manga out of it. The plot feels like kid logic. That's the only way I can explain it.

Wild guess. The super old lady fell in love with the ferrywoman but couldn't marry her cause, you know, her job death wouldn't allow for it. And that's why she hasn't married all these years, and has a tunnel down into the darkness, and is very likely immortal. I want her life. Big mansion? Lovely. Can't die? Neato. Fancy parties? Nice. Ferryman gf? Death never looked so alluring :3

The ferryman is a woman. Where did I put my coin? I'm sure I had a coin. How many coins to ride the boat forever? Is it like one coin per day? One coin per hour? One per trip? Charon, move aside. There's a new ferryman in town.

Here I was, expecting this hole in the ground to be something magical, but it's just a mass grave. How does this not stink for miles? What happens if it fills up? Is this just some cave they've been dumping all the dead people in? Maybe this whole town is stupid. Ok so maybe it's not going to be about necromancy. Maybe it's just gonna be about this kid fishing around in corpses to find his parents for 30 chapters.

Things I know about the main character thus far:
Super gay

I love that this is how this story starts. I know practically nothing about the world. All I know is that this guy is super gay. He spends like half the first chapter being like "mmmmmm nice butt" and "step on me senpai" about the mysterious guy whose mom may or may not be evil. I sense YET ANOTHER gay necromancy plot forthcoming.

This lady who lives in the mansion is old af
The clock tower cannot be destroyed

Ok so this is maybe my new favorite mangaka. Whoever they are, their brain is fascinating to me. Why? Because it reminds me of my brain. Horrifying demons mixed with cute fox? That's my brain. It's like looking in a mirror. Do I need help? Uhhhhhhhhhh.......

Ok so who came up with the concept of making a demon that's a mix of corpse flower and embryo? Horrifying. I'm sold on that alone. The first few chapters are a little convenient but now I'm hooked. Anyone who can write a super generic paranormal romance series with this level of horrifying art makes me want to study them under a microscope. Also cute but tough fox girl and her emo husband are.....an interesting pair.

Guy literally just crawled out of a demon's body after having killed it from the inside out. Maybe this won't be a typical romance series? Idk it feels a little gory for that. I'm honestly only taking a chance on this because it's about a fox.
