I am really trying to like this book like others in this series so far. Tropes I like are praise kinks, brattiness, D/s, and this has both but, the FMC:MMC are annoying. The FMC is whiney which is disappointing. I enjoyed her brief appearance in Anti Hero. The problem is neither of the characters are communicating about “their story”. He is just brooding and she is just whining.
