I enjoyed most of the second part. But ONCE Vi and Xaden are not acting like two toxic teenagers, the author brings Cat and the whole jealousy ex-girlfriend trope.

I'm sad. This had so much potential, between the characters and the world-building.
It was a good beginning and, suddenly, at 11% everything turned... weird? I don't know. I didn’t like how the sex scenes were written between the MMCs, and the FMC behavior felt weird.
A review said that this story needs to be rewritten by someone who can fix all its flaws, and I couldn’t agree more.

It's giving me a mix of feathers so vicious and a deal with the elf king vibes, but I'm enjoying it, so no complaints for now

Two thoughts:
1. Do I love Dean so much bc he remembers me the ass**** I dated back at high school??? Probably.
2. I think the college mai version ended up being to a pretty close female version of Dean Di Laurentis. Ups.
