The premise is interesting, but something about the dialogues feels off. Like some theatre, with people over explaining things to fill in the audience. But this is a book, I don't think people need that.

It has all the ingredients to a good dark story to me, but I'm about to drop it after so many mistakes with so little written. The amount mixups with POV during conversation was too many to me. I was willing to ignore it and the other stuff, but it got Uber my skin. Which is a shame because I love me some unhinged characters in need of institutionalisation lol. If this ever get a new edition, I'll be back

It's not fair for a character to be this funny/witty

The premise is interesting, but the MC is sorta exasperating. If this was a novel I'd have a harder time finishing, not because it's badly written or anything, but because my patience with characters betting stupid sometimes runs low

But I may be biased right now, because I actually don't love two tropes here, NA and toaster oven, because they frustrate me so muuuuuuch. But even so, I don't want to drop it, weirdoo

So far, everyone but Kate kinda suck
