I'm trying to enjoy this one, but I can't put my finger on what's bothering me. Something feels a bit off, maybe it's too clinical even though there's plenty of "mystical" things going on. Mybe it's the pace, so far everything has happened so fast.


It's certainly not a bad reading, I'll give it 2 more chapters and if things still don't click with me I'll drop it unfortunately, which is a shame

A lot of people have an opinion about the books Radclyffe wise, I find them very comforting even when I'm balling my eyes out because some characters, who aren't even part of the main "cast", went through some awful sitch..

Loving it, the tension

So far so good, interesting enough to hold my my attention, bad the bad french is killing me.

In my current mood, I couldn't watch naive blondy being feisty stubborn and putting everyone at risk, mostly her. But it's overall good

For a second there, but just a second, I thought the miscommunication trope would show up but I'm glad Jo didn't go there. T and C are much better than that, now to see the new wee cute all "grown up"already

The premise is interesting, but something about the dialogues feels off. Like some theatre, with people over explaining things to fill in the audience. But this is a book, I don't think people need that.

It has all the ingredients to a good dark story to me, but I'm about to drop it after so many mistakes with so little written. The amount mixups with POV during conversation was too many to me. I was willing to ignore it and the other stuff, but it got Uber my skin. Which is a shame because I love me some unhinged characters in need of institutionalisation lol. If this ever get a new edition, I'll be back

It's not fair for a character to be this funny/witty

The little shit already got me guffawing plenty

The premise is interesting, but the MC is sorta exasperating. If this was a novel I'd have a harder time finishing, not because it's badly written or anything, but because my patience with characters betting stupid sometimes runs low

But I may be biased right now, because I actually don't love two tropes here, NA and toaster oven, because they frustrate me so muuuuuuch. But even so, I don't want to drop it, weirdoo

So far, everyone but Kate kinda suck
