Have been looking forward to this one so much, after reading The Splinter in the Sky! Think I'm going to like this one as well.

Seriously, the author is really not painting a good picture of himself.

Well I was enjoying this one, but now it was suddenly removed from the audiobook service I'm using, without any warning. Guess I'm not reading it anymore 🙃

Eh, I completely lost interest in this one.

"...her baseline buoyancy as she went through the world had increased..."

That really is a fitting way to describe the feeling of healthy, stable love.

This is cute!

These characters are frustatingly unrelatable. Which makes this a bit of a slog, as most of the book so far consists of their dialogues and the main characters inner thoughts.

I'm zoning out so hard with this one. I really liked the first chapters, with the cozy descriptions of the odd collection. Her interactions with Simon in the other world however are really, really boring. I think I simply don't like the way this author writes dialogues, or maybe even characters themselves?

This isn't going to be a romance or a murder mystery, right? ...Right??

Okay, I love the book, but it could use some heavy editing. Lots of words used in places they don't fit etc, sometimes even the opposite of what they're meant to be saying.

Enjoying this book a lot! And I can really relate to being a young, hyperfocused anime fan in the late 90s.

Somehow, I have never realized how recent the Sailor Moon anime was when I first started looking into seasons beyond what we got in Sweden. Think we got internet access in 1998, and the last season of Sailor Moon finished in 1997. Wow. I felt like it was something that had existed for a long time when I first dug into all the lore and trivia.

This is so much less interesting than Sailor Moon =.= I don't like how slice of life-y and episodic it is, just like I tend not to be a fan of Naoko Takeuchi's short stories or bonus chapters.

I really like how this is written. And the audiobook narrator is perfect.
