This is painful. When the spicy scene literally gives you the ick lol

We have entered that slower pacing issue that so many romantasy books have. Book one avoided it !! And now we are firmly settled into a tiny drag. Pushing through the next few chapters because I know the pace will pick back up again.

I’m 43% in with 6.5 hours ish left and we have reached that pacing issue that is the bane of so many romantasy novels. Book one was so good about pacing I had some really high hopes but the setting for this book is far more stationary so we are repeating issues and not progressing.
On the flip, I’m also so obsessed with Kass that everyone else is very much meh compared. I love that I can hear him in my head.
