This author uses the exclamation mark in weird ways and in almost inappropriate sentences. Like something that does not need it, we can understand the grotesque nature without an exclamation mark

This book is the king of non Sequitur thoughts.

We infantilized Elsbeth really quickly on, almost taking on a parental form and now we want to kiss her and her touch is so magical? That was fast and this is not a good timeline.

And also the way Elsbeth speaks is like an actual child.

I don’t like that this is a lesbian romance, and the one woman refers to this other as a girl,a little girl even though she’s 19 and the other is 7 years older.

Redundancy is my biggest pet peeve.
