She was tortured for maybe a day; how is she sooo traumatized, etc.? And then had a whole panic attack over her dog jumping in her lap, when she did not encounter any type of monster. She was asleep for the majority of it and had maybe 3 incidents. Get a grip. For someone who was abused all of her life, she sure is acting like this is new. 🙄

This book is exhausting to read. Every character has to voice the same opinion, and then it's recapped in the character's thoughts. Please pick a few each time to voice their opinion and then move on to the next thing.

Repetitive. It's literally all of your series combined into one. The characters throughout have the same personalities. The elements are different and interesting, but the execution is lacking.

Cute story, but California to Colorado is not cross-country.
