It’s taken me until a quarter into the 11th volume to realize this series is based in a fictional country based upon Germany! Wow, just wow, I missed the memo.

A beautiful addition to the series, focused upon following your heart and accepting that its alright to be 100% true to yourself. As usually highly recommended.

Not gonna lie the series was beginning to feel a bit stagnant. This volume has brought back the excitement for me. I see the story progressing whereas before I was reading extended fight scenes I couldn’t find rationale for.

The authors insistent use of black as something bad or evil and white as something good or divine has implications beyond what’s intended. The publisher’s “Note” below the registered trademark listing is simply not sufficient in distancing from the continual harmful racially charged narratives and connotations. I’m just about ready to sit down with the editor and publisher for dialogue.

I'm on the fence about this one so far. It was recommended to be about 4 times from various friends so I will be finishing but had it not been recommended I may have dropped it at this somewhat midway point.

This is the fourth volume and this storyline is still fresh. Happy to have given this series a try.

This is my second read and I do not regret picking this book back up. I may need to read it once a month to soak in the lessons better. CHANGE BE OPEN TO CHANGE, I'm saying this to myself.

Enjoying this Harlequin delight-- I wonder if it'll be my last read of the year!

This book is pulling on my heart strings so I’m taking my time going through it.

This one took me for surprise. I was envisioning the standard Harlequin sequence where after the two leads finally find love they have a massive argument and there happy ending is threatened. What I received was a shero!! Ready to defend her love, willing to ignore the naysayers regardless of closeness to her, and a equally solid male lead whom wasn't unwilling to be the best man he could be!!
