18 pages left but god the ending is so boring

This was supposed to take me one day and it’s been over a week

Started this in September and I’m sooooo close to being done but the last 3 chapters are so so boring I just can’t

If nothing else happens besides the narrator describing the plague I’m gonna be so bored and stop reading

The first half was amazing and this second half is so boring I don’t even know if I can finish it.

I get it, your mom died, but that’s not a plot!! Telling the most boring memories ever of your mom and doing absolutely nothing is not a story!! Why is the second main character not matching the first main character’s energy ?!?!
