I devoured this book!

meh. blah. mid.

finally finished this one! Was good

I really don't like the language used. Gulping down, shoveling food, in the context of the conversation there's no need to make the entire country sound like glutenous mindless mouths and stomachs. I picked up the book for the science not the jabs.

enjoying this book but the narration is just ok. both the main male supporting character and their child's voice are obviously imperfect.
