I’m not into this.. why is it so hard to put books down 🥲

The writing in this book is nearly unbearable. The story is interesting but the writing feels like pulling teeth to figure out what the point is of each sentence. I want to scream.

Flowery language can be impactful when used appropriately but this is overuse (like every other sentence or whole paragraphs) and incredibly irritating

I forgot how much I dislike ZHBs narration. There have to be better narrators out there we can offer roles to with English accents

I’ve spent most of this book with my mouth agape.

I swear I’ve read this before but it’s not marked as read so I’m confused.


Tbh, I still have no idea what happens so I’m continuing and I think I like it so far. Also, the series isn’t finished which makes me extra suspicious as if i haven’t read this already 🤷🏽‍♀️

This is a SLOWWWWWWW burn but the plot isn’t captivating enough for the romance to be this boring. Hoping for the best 😬

Diem is bothering me. She’s not playing the politics game very well and I’m bothered by her choices.

For instance, the regents wife literally glared at Diem and didn’t acknowledge her.. the queen.. and diem just looked away. No slap or snark. BORING. 🥱

I don’t know why I put this series off tbh.

Side note: I cannot handle the brother story giving me clues because I have anxiety

…I am having a good time, the vibes are cute. Ready for the action and enemy introduction finally!

I am shaking with excitement while wrapping this book up. This is such a wild adventure I’ve been shocked like 3 times already and I have a feeling we’re not done yet.

This book is so fucking funny. I love that there has been zero smut thus far and now that he’s scented her I’m kicking my little feet and giggling like they’ve just spent hours in all sorts of tantalizing positions 😆

I’m surprised this has the ratings it does. I think it’s a bit juvenile for me with little reasoning for for the main relationship. Other relationships just existed all the sudden or went from 0 to deep love ??
