This is just not making a lot of sense to me. So far I’ve seen absolutely nothing to endear me to the heroine. The actions taken by the characters are OTT. Finally, if she cares so damn much about her brother? Why did she not keep up with him?? 4 years and she knows nothing about his life. F you Dani. Selfishness so extreme that to go forward and read how they get together will make me puke.

I am so glad I started this as an audiobook. The heroine’s sense of humor is on point and the narrator brings it to life perfectly. Really loving this so far.

The h is so immature in her obsession that it’s caused other reviewers to classify their encounters as assault. Not a win.

Not to mention how selfish she’s being toward the couple that needs her! I swear to god, I guess if 40 is the new thirty, etc, than 25 must be the new 15🙄

Alrighty. Here’s what I’ve been thinking through this whole book. You should definitely go away. You don’t know the H. He doesn’t know you. Your attracted and had sex. Big deal. You keep saying you want to go so GO!! I’m. It sure what the author was hoping to accomplish here? Is all of this push supposed to convince us that the h is independent? Not working.

This girl....I swear...her “I want you but I don’t want to give you what you want but I can’t stop obsessing over you” schtick is getting very old. She’s just being mean at this point. And seriously? She doesn’t know a damn thing about him. Parents? Siblings? Nothing. If you’re so sure if your future path than get on it. Jeez

I really wish the author hadn’t mentioned these characters in her latest book, Surviving Trace. Now I’m pretty sure she’s ruined part of the mystery in this book. Hope there’s more to it than what I’ve already figured out.

This book is so fricking cute. Started kinda weird but I hung in there. My only issue? Feeling like a child at 21 needing parental permission. Maybe because I was married at 21. Still. Annoying.

Haven’t decided if I’m going to continue. I know it’s a debut but every sentence starts with “I” and that’s a pet peeve for me. “I walked to the corner. I peeked around. I could sense danger.” Those aren’t direct quotes, just paraphrasing. I don’t want to read a diary. It makes the writing immature.

I want to like this. I get it. I was on twitter for the misogyny. The deep misogyny of the tech world. But it’s just so choppy! So hard to follow. I’m dying for a breakthrough that will pull it together

I hate when an author proclaims a character is exceptional at something and then doesn’t give the first sentence of proof to that fact. So far we know Andi loves cars and is a mechanic. Not a single scene to back that up so far.

M.Q is always funny but I haven’t laughed this hard and genuinely at a book in forever!! So far perfect and not OTT at all.

See, this book is good...really good. But I just don’t understand how he couldn’t have known who she is by now. I’m going to need a really good explanation, soon.
