Gisele shines a light on the fact that many women are still accused of lying about rape by other women and of course by men. Books like this need to exist for that reason. Society needs to be aware that speaking out about rape and violence is still met with disbelief.

I cried reading Chapter 1 & 2 because I know where the story goes. Chapter 1 & 2 is an introduction to the crimes commited. I needed a break after the first two chapters even though they don't go into much detail.
I continued reading to the end of Chapter 4 today. Now, I have learnt a bit about Gisele's early life. The writing is beautifully worded and is translated from French to English in an understandable way.

Main character, Alix, is clever and has found a way to hack a system. I'm loving reading about such a woman and hope there's more feminism in Such A Fun Age.

Good quotes and advice, best read in little bits for me so it all sinks in.

Chapter 14 - '10,000 hours of what?' starts on page 249. I've read the first page and it's just become my favourite page in the book. Hopefully the rest of the chapter is as good. Time to read it.
