Chapter 14 - '10,000 hours of what?' starts on page 249. I've read the first page and it's just become my favourite page in the book. Hopefully the rest of the chapter is as good. Time to read it.

Enjoyed the chapter on the tax drama.

The amount of quotes from others is too much for me. I loved when he wrote about humour and it's relationship to ourselves and it's relationship to the world. I thought this was going to be the best bit but then Jimmy was very vulnerable about his experience with mental health when travelling to Australia regularly. He was sooo vulnerable, the best examples of vulnerability with nothing left to hide that I've read.

Currently in the middle of the best chapter so far about the nuance of comedy and the effects of laughter on our brain.

Starting Part 2
Millie was unlikeable and so was Andrew. Nina wasn't likeable either but I've been curious about her perspective so I expect a lot from part 2. However, I'm unsure if I'll rate this book highly. I don't think a lot happened in part 1 and it was predictable.

The style of writing makes it a quick and easy read but it is predictable.

Zoned out a few times listening to the audiobook

Free audio book on Spotify. Good narration. Interesting story with lots happening. Not a fan of dual storylines or timeline so not sure if I'll go ish it.
