I must say this wasn't really my cup of tea but this little late stage interaction going on has me kicking my feet, smiling at the screen.

This is the first book I've read by this author and it's so good I don't want to finish.

Here's a question: Is Nick Cutter okay??? As a human being, is he genuinely ok?? Dear God I'm going to fucking vomit. (And also keep reading but wtf)

I've heard of eye bleach. Now I need ear bleach from this damn audiobook

The book is moving a little slow for my tastes but it's still holding my interest

I finished this chapter (21) and audibly said "oh no".

I am a very stoic reader. Motionless. Silent. When a book gets a verbal reaction from me, there's some weight there. Honestly this chapter stands alone. And on its own, it was done beautifully.

I hate to DNF a book this far in but damn am I BORED.

I'm at a solid 2 star rating so far and I just don't think the last 35% is going to save it.

One more god damned flashback and I swear I'm going to lose it

You know how in Lost every damn episode had a flashback?

Well, that's what this book feels like. And it's really getting on my nerves. I personally don't love frequent flashbacks (or truthfully any flashbacks at all) unless they really add something to the plot. These do not.

It's very much giving "not like the other girls" !!!!

Ok. Ok. Maybe it's the voice actress... Although I have a feeling it's the character herself.... But I kind of hate the narrator? Am I supposed to? Is this part of the experience?
Granted I'm VERY early on in this book but wow.

Okok I feel better. When books send me to Goodreads midway through it's usually either a very good sign or a VERY bad one. This was a good sign. I have such a love/hate relationship with suspense.
