You know how in Lost every damn episode had a flashback?
Well, that's what this book feels like. And it's really getting on my nerves. I personally don't love frequent flashbacks (or truthfully any flashbacks at all) unless they really add something to the plot. These do not.

WHEN I TELL YOU I HAVE PREDICTED EVERY SO CALLED TWIST IN THIS STORY SO FAR. There better be some grand twist at 99 percent because I'm going to lose it

I hate to DNF a book this far in but damn am I BORED.
I'm at a solid 2 star rating so far and I just don't think the last 35% is going to save it.

I don't know that I necessarily like the main character but I hate her less

Ok. Ok. Maybe it's the voice actress... Although I have a feeling it's the character herself.... But I kind of hate the narrator? Am I supposed to? Is this part of the experience?
Granted I'm VERY early on in this book but wow.
