so elias, laia, and helene have all seen death in their dreams, hallucinations, whatever, and i'm meant to believe that this book is going to end well?? im so convinced elias is definitely going to die and my heart already hurts. ALSO, i feel like elias doesn't like like laia, even though he's clearly into her when we read his pov but still ughh can we get something other than this push-pull dynamic

i'm not joking when I say i've never had the urge to touch grass more than right now, its not even because of the book even though i do think that the "problematic" part of the title should've been written in the biggest font size possible, i've been reading all day and its somehow still 6pm or maybe its already 6pm?? I don't know, i'm clearly losing any grip on reality—a very summery warm reality = no grass for me.

in my defense, this is me enjoying bed-rotting before my 5th of july plans. also, this better end well or im suing—i think it will, don't believe Ali Hazelwood is a fan of terrible endings. teared up a little at Rue's story—i'm praying she gets her happy ending. blip blop, i should probably take a little break
