Is anyone else having trouble loading book pages today?

I will always prefer the grump sunshine dynamic where the woman is the grump and the man is the sunshine. At least this heroine doesn’t take any crap from him.

Ok this might not be a dnf, but it’s not gonna be a five star either.

The story is finally starting

This woman is 24 and says she consumed all the scandals of a tennis player during the late 1990s…this is set in present day… math is hard I guess.

The author keeps switching between calling the main characters by their first names and last names and istg I thought they were playing doubles tennis. Nope. The writing is terrible.

The writing in this is terrible and why is there a fated mates element? It’s weird. This isn’t going to last long.

I’m a little late to my pride month read but we can have pride in November.

Riveting

The Gilded Age is my fave period.

Behind in my arcs so let’s just skip this one to the front of the line.

The transitions in this book are jarring.

Why must all heroes be modelled after Chris Evans? At least she didn’t use his name, but obviously this is Captain America.

So far this is good. My complaints about this author was when the couple starting banging the story only became about banging. Hopefully that won’t happen.

Didn’t love the other book I read by this author, but I’m giving her a second chance.
