Once you get past the start of the night that the two MC's meet it improves, getting past that part however is difficult.

Suspend your disbelief, try not to throw up with the ridiculous gag-provoking scene and you're ok.

The book then becomes cloyingly "sweet", but is actually pleasant to read. I suspect that that's because I'm obviously in the right mood for this storyline!

It's been 3 or 4 years since I last read this, I'm looking forward to meeting the characters once again.

Mac is coming across very badly as far, let's hope that he improves...

Started to read this again after finding a free sequel Hooch and Cake (Special Delivery 1.5)

I love this book

Given up, it's just dreadful.

About 2/3rds through and I'm loving this book. However the constant POV changes are so hard to keep up with. The only hint you have that the current perspective has changed is when a comment is made about the other MC and you realise that we are now reading someone else's POV.

Jake: Some days he could just feel his brain dribbling out of his ears.

I'm struggling with this, so far I'm not enjoying it at all. The of reason I'm still reading is that it gets good reviews...

I'm almost at the point whereby I put the book down in my DNF pile, very unusual for me. At the moment I detest one of the MC's, the professor is such an unprofessional and abusive areshole, I find him revolting. I'm going to carry on for a little while longer...

Damn it's a little hard going atm.

Just finished, really enjoyed this book and the author is wonderfully kind and generous giving this work away free. I've paid for many books which have been dire, but I would happily have paid for this one!

I don't know why I'm nervous about starting this book, I've read books by this author before and loved them. 65 Hours is one of my all-time favourite books of all time. Something about this "feels dodgy".. Oh well we shall see.

It's OK rather disjointed, I don't think that the multiple authors work in this book.

Christmas freebie

Started reading the first book in this trilogy today, Getting Of The Ground, and I was hooked within the first few pages. I love this author's easy going charm and ability to easily set a scene. I was quickly in the airport and I admit I'm certainly more like Elliott's personality than Derek's!

Lol, the editing is a little off, in 12 lines Sonny goes from thinking about Garron as the man he was falling in love with to the man he was in love with!

Great quote from Shane to Ben, he's just slammed the phone,down after ringing to ask if Ben would pay $1,000 electricity.. "If I’d wanted to talk, I wouldn’t have fucking hung up.” BTW, I do miss having a proper heavy handset and base phone, not being able to slam the phone down anymore is tragic! Maybe there's an app for it...

I love the way these two kiss, you can really feel the emotion. I'm loving this book so far the MC's could end up in my favourite couple list :-D

Enjoying the beginning so far but it needs to pick up a little.

So I held his foot with both hands and start rubbing it in a pumping motion. It took a moment for him to realize, but I could see it in his eyes when he did. They widened, then darkened and fuck me, I think we had ourselves a moment.

Okay, here we go again :-D :-D :-P :-$ This is about the 4th time I've indulged in this gorgeous and funny book..... The goddess that is N. R. WALKER has given us a mini sequel a 1.5 version.... I love her^_^

Page 127. This is far more storyline based than focusing on the relationship between the two MC's like the first book. I still love Serpens and the relationship between Pavel and Jess is amusing.
