Extremely blah while masquerading as a supposedly good book.

So far this pretty much reads like a short history of stuff that happened in the US and Europe …

There’s so much info dump and so much angst, it’s gotten irritating and blah.
It’s like Ethan was just born yesterday and is constantly reliving / reciting his life so far in his head.
I’m tired already

After reading the Henri Davenforth series, I am convinced i have another author to add to my favourites and auto-buy list.

Onward to the next...

Finally a book i really really enjoyed.

Writing seems good for a change... characters are interesting. So far so good.

Is interesting but not engaging enough. I don't feel bad putting this down :(

I've been reading this book for a year now which is the longest it has ever taken me to read anything - even textbooks. Must. Finish. Before. November 2016.

On page 5 and already irritated by the info dump with all the backstories. I hope the actual story doesn't drown amidst the legacy of the previous books.

Another Beauty & the Beast retelling. The beginning seems a bit jumbled.

Different from the others in the plot line but still same character stereotypes and info dump in the middle of monologues.

Castor is such a weird name for a lead. Castor reminds me of castor oil, and then it all goes downhill from there. It's disrupting the flow of the book for me,

Why do all these new Feehan books seem like i'm reading the same thing page after page. Do the MCs need to be told the same thing over and over again to get it?

I know this is an MM book, but it could so easily fill in for one of those strategy or self-improvement books. I love the drive portrayed by Daniel's character.

The hero is an arsehole who we're told multiple times knows he's an arsehole but that's how life made him, you see. He can't help himself or change.
Stupid book!

On chapter 12 and the and the Oh Noes, my life. What will i do if it changes is getting old from Molly.

Is this entire book like this?

Instalust between "control freak" hero and virgin librarian - same plot as a highland/historical/other badly written cliched stories. Don't be like that story. I had hopes for you.

pretty interesting so far..some editing issues dragging me out of the storyline.
