Just so I don't misunderstand this...Dominique is an "urban explorer" who runs around in a deserted part of Iceland, without internet or even cell service and then traipses onto a ship that's been lying around half sunken for ~50 years. Alone. At night. I already can't with this.

After 4 medium to 'please someone make this nonsense stop' stories, it got better again and I have high hopes for the next one by Kate Elliott.

Did no editor look at Nancy Holder's story and think 'Oh, a different language, maybe we should check if the translations are right'?
For example: "wandelndere Leichname" is plain wrong because "wandelndere" isn't even a real word in German and the translation to 'changing corpses' is also wrong. I can admit to being German enough to be annoyed by stuff like that.

Not what I expected at all but not bad so far

I'm stuck. I'm starting to get a migraine as soon as I even think of finishing this book. But finish it I shall! But I don't understand why so many people like it so much. All the religious stuff, all those insufferable characters. Tl;dr: UGH

Halfway through and it's starting to feel like a chore. And why the diary entries Stephen, whyyy? Those always seem lazy to me as a reader

So...in this book there are Evil Elk? Malicious Murder Moose? Wicked Wapiti? I don't know how to handle that.

I do like this book in general, the writing is good so far but I feel like the MCs should be older. Might be my own age showing here but it's weird to me if a 17 year old girl talks about never falling in love again because she's had these bad experiences with her ex. What did he do, pull your braids while in the sandbox?
