This book picked up close to where the other one left off and you don't feel like you're getting a recap that is nonsensical - they've actually added a bit to it and made it interesting. Again, I'm surprised with how good this book is considering how easily it could have gone wrong considering it is a Sci-Fi fuzzy blue alien sex capade. But it's a good time !

Sometimes I really question the choices I make with my audiobooks. I think a lot of it is because these come free with a membership I bought. I'm going to try and stick through even tho I've already fast forwarded because a lot of people have said other than that the book is pretty good. But stronger trigger warnings are needed because I didn't know there was going to be such a descriptive s/a right off the bat!!

Why is there always one guy that knocks the excellent Ensemble narration cast off the chart. I don't know who the heck they hired to do the MMC but he sounds so monotone and without any emotion and so much like the bad actor in Star Wars who played Darth vader. Geez Louise what a shame. Meanwhile the story is fun!

Also authors: can you stop calling your MMC Reese?

This kind of s*** makes me so mad I want to write my own book but I'm not a writer so I'm just going to rant to you instead.

Book plot/premise really good but of a sudden after contesting how strong she is and she'll never been to the will of being manipulated - guess what, she does FFS!

I bet this book is good. But the narrator of this audiobook is so bad she's going in the "So Bad It's Good" category. Not only does she have a lisp, not only does her "celtic" accent which goes from worst Scott ever into Midwestern dentist in 1 paragraph, she's now doing the other of the four Fae Warriors like Samantha from Sex And The City 😳🕳️🐔🍸

Oh goody. Another scene of the characters forgetting what they've learned in the past. So Mr good demon can sense Mr bad demon through smell. He has been stink bombed and yet they are still going into the enemy stronghold where he can't sense Mr bad demon. Do you guys do you think it could be a setup?

Why are they all acting stupid I don't get it this would be so easy to write in a different way

If you had something magic that could be taken from you and used against you would you not learn from past mistakes when it was? But no our FMC has gone stupid for plot of advancement and it didn't ever occur to her to maybe put it somewhere else. Even on her body somewhere else.

How disappointing because this book series is good but this kind of stupidity makes me not want to finish

Almost got to the end of the book without a complaint but no! At ground Zero we have to turn into the dumbest dumbass of all dumbassians.

This one is a hoot! So much fun and really original. I do love when you get a good book finally after so many bad ones!

A book that takes its time. More than 70% done, and the main character is finally just losing her sour attitude.

So this guy has terrorized, literally pursued someone he humiliated, cornered her in a stairwell, basically sexually assaulted her, then when she is trying to quit he corners her in her office and tries the sa again but thinks he's smart by offering her an option to say no which he thinks equals consent. And when she does he decides he's going to blackmail her.

I mean I love Julie as an author but this book is s***

Tell me you're hungover and just got out of bed without telling me your hungover and just got out of bed Mr narrator. Aiden Snow delivering one of the worst readings I've ever heard. And are you in your closet recording this? Must have been during covid. So incredibly bland tired and monotone.

In between the publishing of the first and second book all the main characters seem to have come down with amnesia. This is not a great way to start off the second book. They know that evil shapeshifter from the end of book one is out and about. They know he is linked to the ensourceled Jander and cMr could you be more insecure gets even more insecure . All are clueless when things go bad - why?

Storyline, characters and thought for actually pretty good. But the whole back and forth does he like me he doesn't like me does he like me he doesn't like me is so irritating and unnecessary. Do it or don't do it but quit writing it every 10 minutes

I just figured out what this book is. It's a '70s p****. All the sex - the worst storyline and narration that is so bad it makes you cringe. And yet super enjoyable because it's so bad

Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa! Okay I know this is an older book before trigger warnings but for the love of goodness who would ever have expected a detailed description of someone being gutted and worse?!. What the actual f is going on. I thought this was just going to be a fluffy sexxy book

The ultimate cheese ball book. Great banter excellent narrators. But the FMC and her friend are two of the dumbest jellyfishes I have ever read.

And not because they're dumb - but because of their written stupid for plot advancement and I f****** hate that

Not a complete and absolute 180° personality change of the female main character at the end of the book.

What the f*** is going on?

Why does everyone go stupid in fantasy books? So this guy has attempted SA with you, betrayed you twice and you don't think that he's the reason that the bad guys always know where you are?

Odds are this obnoxious early Young female protagonist is going to have a life-changing experience and become a better person. But the question is: do I want to hang out with her in this book while we're waiting for that to happen?

I'm glad this book was a gift and I didn't pay money for it

So he knows he turns into a monster on the new moon. She knows he turns into a monster on the new moon but is otherwise a human. But neither one of them who think they're so smart can figure out that anybody else around them could also be one of the Shadow Wraiths?

So we're all about female empowerment and we have a woman general and Rangers. And yet we're letting some guy walk all over us by letting the creepy borderline SA kind of guy WHO JUST REPORTED YOU KNOWING THAT THEY'RE GOING TO SEND ASSASSINS AFTER YOU hang out with you just because her dad said you should. Riiiiight

Okay I know this is supposed to be a fluff book. But if you're going to pretend that they are snowed in in the middle of the wilderness in February in Northern quebec, there ain't no way in sweet heckety heck that there is a creek that isn't Frozen and also has fish running in it.

It's almost a shame that I grew up in Northern Canada because the inaccuracy is about the weather and how easy it is for them to snare animals (who are magically fresh but dead already???) keep pulling me out of the story
