Oh goody. Another scene of the characters forgetting what they've learned in the past. So Mr good demon can sense Mr bad demon through smell. He has been stink bombed and yet they are still going into the enemy stronghold where he can't sense Mr bad demon. Do you guys do you think it could be a setup?

If you had something magic that could be taken from you and used against you would you not learn from past mistakes when it was? But no our FMC has gone stupid for plot of advancement and it didn't ever occur to her to maybe put it somewhere else. Even on her body somewhere else.
How disappointing because this book series is good but this kind of stupidity makes me not want to finish
