I spent so much of the book really not liking either of the guys. The way James thought of and interacted with his ex was pretty gross and even though she seemed to suck, he didn’t seem like he’d been a good boyfriend. While El was better, he comes across kinda predatory, which isn’t great.

I haven’t read the whole anthology yet, but if the other stories are half as good as C Rochelle’s You Can’t Get There From Here, I know it’s so worth it!
This quick spicy monster story was so fun & I loved the sweet romance between Billie and Oren. What’s not to love about a romance novelist finding her very own cryptid?!
I cant wait to read more of the antho & more of the Strange Vacationland universe!
