I’m loving this but I’m also slightly confused

I wish this started after the time jump and had flashbacks or something, not because it’s not good but because I know what’s coming

I was enjoying this book a lot until ike 5 pages ago because wtf is the point of this whole Jordan evil ex thing??

Her ex shows up and steals her hotel room after she changed the card to hers? That makes no sense and feels ridiculously pointless

I feel like there is more than enough opportunities for drama with a wedding and 3 exs no need for 4

Not sure how I’m feeling about this. I think I like it but there’s also some things sticking out a bit too much, like the whole “he’s a super smart genius guy but doesn’t care about school cause it’s all too easy and boring” thing

I want to scream at her brothers, and Jamison, and bring her grandad back and yell at him too. I know this isn’t what i should be focused on, but holy fuck I’m so mad on her behalf.

I fear the whole “family business that she ran being sold out from under her” kinda thing is going to piss me off too much to enjoy this. We shall see

It’s giving novella but it’s 319 pages

This autism rep feels a little too stereotypical to me, like he’s a rude maths genius and that is pretty much it so far, even in his POV.

This is starting to feel really cringey. Not sure I can keep reading it

I’m not a huge fan of books that have paranormal elements but are meant to be contemporary. If you’re gonna have love spells, witches and psychics then lean in!

Ok, was enjoying it for a bit. There was a rescue thing and that was great, and there were a couple other parts where he was winning me over but then everything started to feel a bit rushed. Like, suddenly there’s pet names and sex but I still feel no chemistry.

Also she calls him “Rollo” and I just can’t. That is chocolate or my friends childhood dog not a hot man

I feel like this could have used a lot more editing, because the world building is overdone in places, confusing in others and makes no sense at points, but I’m kind of enjoying the book.

I say kind of because there are certain things that will get old very quickly but it’s fun enough. The anxiety is getting to be too much for though tbh

Guys, I’m not sure I’m going to like this. It doesn’t feel like a HBY book. And it’s got a slutty bisexual mmc stereotype. I want to love but I’m not sure I will

This really picked up after the first 20% but that part was a bit of a drag. I am enjoying it now though

Not sure what I expected but so far this is not quite it. It’s interesting and well written but more medical information than pain gap information

Why is this 400 pages????

I feel like this could have been structured better, like I’m ready for it to finish already but there’s still 30% to go
