Oh my god of course Percy Shelley wrote Prometheus as wanting to settle down in a cave with Asia AND her sisters tsk tsk tsk shameless

Urgh I really didn’t want to like this

I find my irrational brain being nicer to Claude while reading this book

I know I’m late to the party, but Shelley…she was early…suspiciously early 🤨

Just ignore pages 229 and 230. So unnecessary and distasteful. Can’t believe Le Guin would betray me like this 💔

Worst part of reading Le Guin is knowing that every sentence read is one less sentence to experience for the first time :,(

In awe and nauseated…

A suffocating experience so far

If I have to read one more poorly written paragraph about someone’s erect nipples I’m going to crash out

Living up to it’s name so far

When I imagine Tolkien writing this book I picture him searching for a dew drop that embraces the morning sunlight perfectly. When he finds it hanging from a leaf and it sings the beginning of the world he traps the song in a jar. Then he takes it back to his study and opens it in candlelight to transcribe it for the rest of us. And then all the dew drops sing.
Well that’s my theory at least…..

This is a weirdo book for weirdos (I love it)

Only 30 pages in and I’m already emotional wth
