It read like a story, of the discovery of a new theory, a new way of understanding the self. What struck me was that the discovery had actually been made 70 years ago, the papers thereafter ignored. The rise in constructism however is coming from a variety of directions, cognitive philosophy, neuroscience, psychology it is a fascinating journey that I'm enjoying. I'm moving to Clarke's book next.

This will be more interesting to social psychologists than the lay-person. It maps out Steele's life-long career of experiments with stereotypes, it gives good definitions, is critical of the next steps to take and the questions that arose after the last project that he did. What I like is how he brings the stories of real people and their experiences in thus bringing the concepts into a better perspective.

I loved this. It's definitely going on my read again list.

The author combined an uncanny, gory obsession with experiences of women, immigration, fetishism, and white male superiority.

I really enjoyed this.

I love the juxtaposition of a ballet dancer & a genderless human that's even more graceful.

The idea of a colony on Mars & the political issues that may arise were interesting, but I really wish there was more focus on the relationship between the two characters.

I love this author, and I stayed up all night reading Revenge it was unputdownable. But The Diving Pool.... I put down & forgot to pick back up.

I'm in love with this story already. Kya is such a great character.
