look ok yes i am halfway through and i probably will be hlfway thru until the end of tjme. this is the kind of book where i'll mention jt in some kind of critical conceptual conver-- very useful and rich and interesting. but it is just like reading something that is made of mud. it's like soooo heavy going. i cant read this on the tube!!!!!? are u CRAZY?!

i am losing my patience w this book because it is lowkey a bit smug. like bell hooks is RIGHT and she should SAY IT but do i have to trudge thru it? exhausting! i’m sorry. i feel bad for having this opinion!!! i wish i was the kind of person that could revel in the profundity of this book. but i actually just feel knackered. speed reading to get it over with which is SAD!
