LOVE! Couldn’t put it down!

Even better the second time

I haven’t stopped thinking about this since I last read it, so here we are

I’m switching over to the Fable app. It’s cuter and more fun. If you’d like to join please add me as a friend

A man definitely wrote this

Like we get it😭 Alaska is cold and your dad is abusive😭 please just call adult protection services and get yourself a restraining order and maybe this book can end faster. I’m tired

It’s a cozy read. It’s also like reading in one of Wes Anderson’s movies (The Grand Budapest Hotel to be exact). The only way to get thru this is while listening to Tchaikovsky or Chopin and constantly researching certain words and paintings that are referenced. I’m just trying to finish this so that I can watch the show on Paramount +

Genuine question for the public: do audiobooks count as "reading"? how do we feel about it?

Reminds me of a Wes Anderson film, and Ralph Fiennes is the narrator in my mind. Loving it so far!

I went to goodwill today to look for the second lord of the rings book but instead came out with this

When Mars said “Life is only precious because it ends, kid. Take it from a god. You mortals don’t know how lucky you are.” Like why is that kinda deep

This is me entering back into my Greek mythology era… or should I say Roman mythology hehe. It’s also getting me pumped for the Percy Jackson Disney series coming out next month!

It’s like the author thought of every fantasy world and mythical creature she knew and threw it into a book… in a very unoriginal way. Yet she tries to make it super dramatic (cringe!) Not to mention the repetition of words and phrases. The folks who actually love this book are probably new to the fantasy world genre and that saddens me because there are far better ones out there :(

I definitely judged the book by its cover thinking this was gonna be GOOD! I love fantasy genre but unfortunately I’m already so over this book. Super predictable filled with annoying and unlikeable characters. It’s like a mix between beauty and the beast, the hunger games, and mortal instruments — but in a bland, plagiaristic way. Can’t put my full review bc this ratchet app won’t let me (too many words)

I can already tell this is an enemies to lovers story…
