Genuine question for the public: do audiobooks count as "reading"? how do we feel about it?

I have tried and tried to get into audiobooks and everytime I think I’m going to like it I end up not. Part of it is because it doesn’t feel like reading to me. But I don’t think that discredits it as counting for reading for other people.

I never end up really paying attention just by listening to audiobooks but it definitely counts as reading…. I think
