It’s like the author thought of every fantasy world and mythical creature she knew and threw it into a book… in a very unoriginal way. Yet she tries to make it super dramatic (cringe!) Not to mention the repetition of words and phrases. The folks who actually love this book are probably new to the fantasy world genre and that saddens me because there are far better ones out there :(

I definitely judged the book by its cover thinking this was gonna be GOOD! I love fantasy genre but unfortunately I’m already so over this book. Super predictable filled with annoying and unlikeable characters. It’s like a mix between beauty and the beast, the hunger games, and mortal instruments — but in a bland, plagiaristic way. Can’t put my full review bc this ratchet app won’t let me (too many words)

I can already tell this is an enemies to lovers story…
