it‘s weird how this book is almost perfectly describing how I felt and what I went through during and after my father‘s death and then my aunt‘s death and my relationship with my mother afterwards, only the roles of Michelle‘s parents are reversed to mine and my mother is more like her mother but in the aftermath of my dad‘s death she became like her father. idk

Ramy is pissed that Robin tried to save himself. And what about it? What is so bad about trying to survive when you have nothing to fall back on should you fail. Ramy doesn’t know what that’s like and his pride is not making him see reason, imo. Victoire is too meek to take any side fully.
