I can't begin to put into words how excited I am that this book is finally on audio. I own the rest of the series in physical copies but I listened to them on audio first so I told myself I would not read this book until I found it in audio form. I don't care that I'm already in the middle of several other books, this could not wait.

If you're gonna go out or your way to get two narrators, WHY is this man still doing a girlie voice for the woman's lines? Just let the woman do her character's lines???

The banter in this book is iconic

Is anyone else having issues reviewing/rating the books that they've read in the last few days? I finished an audiobook yesterday but I can't rate or review it. I keep getting an error pop-up saying Goodreads is at capacity and to try logging out or force closing the app? I've done both of those things multiple times and it still won't fix.

The guy voicing Alabaster in this book is EVERYTHING

Not as much focused on me as I was led to believe. Still super interesting for sure but less reader insert than advertised.

I’m over 2 and a half hours into this audio book and I’m just...meh.

Really thought I would be enjoying this more but I’m nearly 2 hours into the audio book and not a whole lot is going on.

I am sooooo sick of Edward telling Bella who she can and cannot hang out with like she’s a fucking child

No. Because no. I can tell what's about to happen, the second I Heard him start talking about a file sticking out of her bag I knew what the fuck was about to happen. I know that he's not gonna let her explain and I also know she's dumb as hell for not telling him before they slept together. I hate shit like this in Books. I'm tempted to DNF it when there's less than 30 minutes left of this audiobook. I really am.

I somehow don’t know how I feel about this book. It's okay?

The further my sister and I get into this book the more that I realize this book is not just poorly written but is a perfect example of men gaslighting women for their own needs.

Why in the fresh fuck is there yet again another scene where something weird and sexual is happening while they are in the same room as the fucking kids?! There are moments when this book is weirdly entertaining in a trashy daytime soap opera kind of way and then other times where I'm so creeped out I'm nauseous

Oh my God I don't know what the fuck is worse. The foot thing with his children literally in the room with them or her telling him that they can't have sex while she's on her period repeatedly and him continuing to ignore her saying no by begging over and over and over again until he basically coerces her into agreeing to have sex with him. What the fuck is happening?

OK so what I've learned so far in this book is that the author cannot keep the MMC's personality consistent. His personality changes constantly and he is a walking contradiction. The FMC can't make up her mind, I'm super tired of the misogynistic bro scenes between the MMC and his friends and I think they started hooking up way too soon in this book.

The most anticlimactic kiss ever. I also feel like the Insta lust is insane in this book. I'm barely 30% of the way through and they've already had a sexual interaction, a sexy phone call and sexy emailing. And now they're on a secret date? I really thought there was gonna be more longing and yearning in this book.

I am so fucking over Julian's scenes with his friends. His creepy friends telling him to "get his moneys worth" and fuck the nanny? And when he tries to be responsible and tell them that he can't because his kids, the people that actually need her, seem to actually really like her and that he needs to behave, their response is "fuck the kids, the kids don't pay her wages" ??? These guys are fucking disgusting.

My new reason to be annoyed is that they have called this man old six or seven times now and I'm only 16% of the way into the book. Bro is in his 30s.

Her calling him old repeatedly when he's only in his late 30s is annoying the hell out of me. His conversation with his friends seems like a very "forced macho interaction" and I'm deeply thrown off and uncomfortable by the fact that he was doing inappropriate shit in the kitchen where anyone in the house, including his family, could've seen him.
