It was a cute read. Started really strong and I loved the whole accidentally married and teach me tropes. As the book went on it started to feel a bit too long, dragged out and cheesy. Definitely could have shortened it by like 50 pages.
I really like this universe and the friendships it has within it. Not my favorite in the series but a pretty good one nonetheless

No one writes banter like Lauren Roberts. The tension and angst between the characters was incredible and i enjoyed every single second of this book. I will say it could probably use another round of editing cause there were some mistakes but overall I absolutely loved it.
Also the ending where Kitt forces Paedyn to marry him right in front of Kai??? Can’t wait to read the third book!!

It was really cute but didn’t have a lot of plot right until the ending. The ending was fucking brutal let me tell you. I totally forgot Adena died.
I wonder how Mak will fit in the next book cause I have a feeling he will but we’ll see

A cute book but I’m not obsessed with it. I felt like it lacked depth and it took me a fucking while to read. Didn’t really hook me in and that’s what I need right now

Honestly I loved it. I loved the plot and Amelia and Dante. It got me really excited to read the series!
The ending felt a bit rushed and cheesy but again it’s a novella so it makes sense.
Overall a great easy start to the series

Cute easy fun read. Will I think about this ever again? Probably not but I did enjoy it. A bit over hyped but the couple had a great wholesome dynamic and SUCH good communication which was refreshing.

Part 2
Gibsie and Claire have my heart and soul and my heart broke for gibsie and how he was raped and his sister and dad and just his entire course of life.
This book was cute and funny and heartwarming and heartbreaking all at the same time. It didn’t give me that gut wrenching dying inside feeling the others did but I still loved it.
I’m SO exited for lizzie and Hugh’s book!! Like literally can’t wait!!!!

Chloe Walsh did it again.
I absolutely love this series with everything I have. I will say, this book is my least favourite one but it’s still great. It had a little less plot in a way but also there is significance in it dragging on for gibsies character and his development.

Part 2
They tried to make it seem like an emotional experience but it’s just a blow job like relax. And when she said daddy they completely lost me. I didn’t really believe their chemistry and calling this a hockey romance is just plain wrong. I had to force myself to continue reading it and I DNFd it at 67%

This had a lot of wasted potential. I liked how the story started with the whole kidnapped kid thing, which was refreshing and different but half way through it was completely neglected.
The whole interaction between the main characters was purely sexual and there wasn’t much plot outside of it. And no real emotional or otherwise depth.

Part 3
I liked this series but I found myself lowkey forcing myself to continue reading although I think it was because I read it right after caravan and I usually struggle reading a lot of fantasy books in a row.

Part 2

The ending and the outline of the book was pretty cheesy but the ending and how the author reveals the whole story was being told by the story curse was really unique and gave a fun twist to the entire thing, and I just think was very clever. I can see why this is such a cult favourite.

I usually don’t like the memory loss trope but I didn’t mind it here. I feel like it was pretty fast paced and not overbearing. I LOATH Apollo and aurora and I’m obviously obsessed with jacks. Also evangeline remembering everything because of the letter she wrote to herself so she wouldn’t be tempted to trust jacks again is iconic.

Part 3
Last thing- I absolutely loved how in the end we really got to see the difference between love and obsession and how deeply jacks truly loves evangeline and how selfless he was in order to have her alive. Just how strong and incredible and intimate their bond is, whether it’s communicating through thoughts or being able to read each other so well.
If they don’t get their happily ever after istg

Part 2
Also the plot twists??? Jacks being the archer and chaos is actually castor and the valory archer holding the valors prisoners. Also I’m pissed that she fucking died so jacks had to go back in time to save her so he treated her like shit and then FUCKING APOLLO erased her memory so she doesn’t remember anything and he lied that he was her loving husband?? Such a fucking bitch. Also I lowkey hate luc.

I liked this better then the first book! I feel like it kept me on my toes and the characters couldn’t catch a break to save their lives. I ADORE jacks and how much he loves evangeline. Their relationship and how complex and unique and classical tragedy without being cheesy and evangeline is also EVERYTHING!! She smart and witty and funny and I love her. I love when the fmc is strong and independent

Genuinely I have nothing bad to say about it but it took me so long to read. I liked the world building and plot and jacks and evangeline and their dynamic. I liked how clever and brave she is while also wanting to see the best in people. And I have a soft spot for jacks I’m sorry I can’t help it.
The plot twist at the end where jacks planed the whole thing was good but not that surprising.

Part 2
for the record I was low key rooting for jacks and Tella until he went batshit crazy at the end.
I will say, the end was a bit disappointing and simple and predictable. Too happily ever after, problem solved after a moving speech which bummed me a bit. But overall a solid book and series. Also Julian and Scarlett!!!

This series is really good. I didn’t think the author will manage to make it a good series cause had very much standalone vibes but consider me pleasantly surprised. I liked how the author combined Tella and Scarlett’s povs and how every other page had a plot twist. I mean Dante being legend, Scarlett being Gavriel’s daughter, paradise dying, jacks and tells marriage etc.

Part 2
Her taking her mother’s place in the card and Dante freeing her and all the fates???? Dante is the heir??????
Also I’m team jacks all the way I’m sorry I can’t help it. I should be team Dante but I’m just not.
I’m really excited to see how the plot develops and where this book will take me

I liked it even better then the first one. I loved tella and how intricate and complex and how much depth her character has. It was refreshing reading about a FMM that had an actual personality and was truly the main character and not just dating or having meaning because of a love story.
This book was incredible and unique and I loved the plot twists!! Like Dante is legend???? And her mom??? AMAZING

Part 3
It’s truly not like anything I’ve ever read before and I loved it- from the characters down to the world building. The only thing that slightly bothered me was that the story is told in third person which is a bit annoying but here specifically I feel like it addedd to the vibe the author created.
It’s very standalone coded so I’m intrigued and excited to see how the series continues!!

Part 2
Character wise I liked how Scarlett was ordinary and relatable but in the best way and don’t even get me started on Donatella that was SO underrated and underestimated and is a fucking genius.
The banter between Julian and Scarlett was chefs kiss and when he called her crimson🫠😫

I read it on one sitting. Such an incredible writing and a unique and different and creative plot.
I totally get the hype! I loved how unpredictable the book was- especially for this type of book and how I was on edge the entire time and felt like I can’t trust anyone.
