Kinda insta lusty and dry so far. The most interesting thing for now is Reginald's love for Twilight and Edward. Can't say I blame him 🤷‍♀️

Oh this is frustrating me. The issues from book 2 have carried into this one. Our fmc is being weird Gollum and there's no thought in her head except being Desmond's mate. Totally dumbed down.

Why is she talking like Gollum 😭😭 I know she's trying to be serious but whenever she goes about herself and her power like: "Nobody can hurt us;" "Yesss no one scares us," I freak out. 😭😭😭 Bro is ten seconds away from going "My precious."

The contrast between part one and part two has me in awe. The transition from darkness to how wholesome it got was quite smooth

I'm having a decent time with it but not as good as book one. We have the side characters being placed right on the board and still not being utilized at all 🤷‍♀️ The fmc being a PI and yet not an ounce of curiosity in her about this new world and people around her unless it's about her man 😒🥴

I now have a thing for a broody side character who happens to be a hot fae with scars and an eye patch 😌

I'm so invested in this. The plot thickens so masterfully. Though I gotta say, I was not prepared for creepy supernatural children 😭 I got chills.

This is not working for me. I'm bored but at least it's fast paced 🤷‍♀️

Oh boy.. The book is spending soo much time developing Wes through Sloane's gaze the she herself is not receiving equal development.

I'm in Sloane's head and yet I don't know her. Everything is centered around Wes. It's bugging me.

I could dnf it like a sensible person but unfortunately I'm a stubborn woman who refuses to quit.

These two main characters are so unlikable and their personality is non existent in this. Jo was already a very hit or miss character. But oof Acker is just giving me the ick here.

Firstly, we're seriously going to skip past four years without any explanation???

Secondly, Kai's persistent absence?? If you're going to use him to further your plot especially the plot twist at the end of Metal Slinger, do it on page. He's been off page for 75% in MS and I don't see him in this one either. Just bits and pieces about him makes no sense.

OMG THIS IS SO GOOD. I think this might be the best one in the series so far 👀😩

I love how he goes from a whimpering, pathetic mess to this protective beast for her. If she doesn't marry him, I will 😩😩😩

Kinda boring so far tbh but at least the chemistry between Hekla and Eyvind is really good 🤷‍♀️
