Chapter 6! God damn! This grandad has some wisdom 2 very very true statements which hit me in the feels so bloody good

Really loving the final of this book so far it’s fast paced but slow enough for the development of the characters and the impact of the choices they have to make!

I have fallen in love with Jareb
His written so well. His empathy for his people and the guilt for doing what he must by his kings command is so believable
The heart he has for his wife is so huge.
His character is just perfect his a heartwarming person I light up every time I get to a jareb chapter

Vireo is a dick

Loving this retelling. I love seeing Robin Hood as the bad guys as the tax stealers and it’s the crowns hand trying to resolve the issue sadly his failing miserably with new orders from the king to require more taxes

I wish the names of the characters and places were a bit simpler and similar to pronounce and to the original tale though

Still not fond of Dylan’s character but there’s just always something magical on how Adam writes I feel sorry for mikey but you could tell that relationship was one sided let’s hope it’s a happy ending

I don’t like the writing for Dylan this time round feels very aggressive his quite arrogant and that’s not how I remember him from the first book

This just doesn’t feel like Adam’s work. I don’t know if it’s due to the narrator on audible but I can’t find the synergy that he so often writes with I feel like none of the characters are important enough I’m not rooting for any of them I don’t care for them.

Really frustrating

Emil changes his allegiance so quick from not wanting to be a part of the war to the next page his training

A nice fantasy take on a split world of normals and celestials

There’s a lot of characters lots of names thrown about sort of hard to keep track off

Loving the narration of this book.

I wanted a quick fantasy syfy read and didn’t think I’d care to much to read the rest of the series but I honestly just want to read more of this series

Loving the attitude and the sarcasm between chief and kaidan from chapter 5 the books really gripped me on the humour it carries

I was expecting a love story from the basis of Song of Achilles and I didn’t get that. But I’m also not mad at it.
I love how it slowly introduces all the characters at the beginning and shows us how Circe figures out her abilities by a unfortunate event which she regrets the outcome but not the effect.

Really enjoying this. It’s super descriptive a lot of times I’ve wanted to wince at the descriptions of the horrors they’re going through.

There is a lot of characters that is keeping the story flowing but I can’t figure out if we’re suppose to have a main character or not.

I remember reading reviews on this before starting to read it and I don’t get what people are slating this book for.
It’s a gay love story between a non verbal and a verbal boy both with different coming out story’s like any gay book one family is always against it and will always come up in the storyline it’s to be expected to read about the homophobia in a family and even more so at the school #snowflakes

Not finished it yet, but saying that. It’s such a wonderfully told story. It’s very rare to think of having a friendship or relationship with a non verbal person and it’s been done in such a way that it doesn’t feel weird or rude or insensitive to non verbal people. I feel like it’s giving a voice to another section of people that allow them to be visible and heard
