I have fallen in love with Jareb
His written so well. His empathy for his people and the guilt for doing what he must by his kings command is so believable
The heart he has for his wife is so huge.
His character is just perfect his a heartwarming person I light up every time I get to a jareb chapter

Vireo is a dick

Loving this retelling. I love seeing Robin Hood as the bad guys as the tax stealers and it’s the crowns hand trying to resolve the issue sadly his failing miserably with new orders from the king to require more taxes

I wish the names of the characters and places were a bit simpler and similar to pronounce and to the original tale though
