Metamorphosis - sadness and the feeling of losing controls linger. It’s as if nothing or no creature even matters if they don’t serve a purpose.

It started off so good and now I am praying it would be ok…I don’t particularly like the style where there’s a lot of inner thoughts written out, especially coming from teenagers. It does seem like a very intentional efforts to keep dropping sentences here and there that try to be witty. But it’s getting tiring.

I like the history and background but I can’t believe it quotes Kayne West to state a point in one of the sections.

This is prob one of the best books I’ve read in a while. I am so invested in the stories that I almost cried at the end of each chapter.

Good read!! The stories are fascinating and it also has references to ancient documents. But again, like the author mentioned, a lot of the records were written to impress the Spanish king and thus did not reflect the real true stories. Cross checked with my tour guide in Peru and found a lot of discrepancies but still a good read!

This is killing me. Story develops so slow and too many inner thoughts of irrelevant subjects and I just can’t.
