I read a lot of fantasy and this book is wayyy too fast paced with all its names and places, especially when it feels like we’re just stopping through a lot of them

maybe one of the first times I’m decidedly not happy this couple is getting together

this girl has no plan, she keeps throwing herself into danger in spite of her entire goal being to not die, like I’m IRRITATED make up your mind!!!

I hope Jude is like Cardan… and that Riven is ace ✌🏻

Spottedleaf was the most infantile crush ever why are we putting so much weight into it!!!

suddenly there’s tears on my face. this is a lot like arrival and it’s brilliant.

ok this is super upsetting what possessed jimenez when writing this

actually, that’s his baby

I’ve never forgotten getting this part spoiled in 3rd grade

oh… so are we ever letting graystripe be happy?

I’m 8 years old again ok

this book is literally like sucker punch to the gut, sucker punch to the gut, sucker punch to the gut. I love reading.

never have a clue when’s a good stopping point in this book

you guys don’t understand the highs and lows of collegiate exy!!! and jean playing pain free. and kissing cat on the forehead. and having a WINNING DAY. anyways it’s all downhill from here

asking someone if they love you a month into dating is ridiculous behavior (and so high school???)

SHES THE MOON?????

Jean “I don’t know why I bite” Moreau

this author does not understand that a distance track athlete does not have the same rep as a football player

yeah I did hold off on reading that chapter for two months because kevin’s visit makes me feel like an insane person

why do I still have 100+ pages left.

the writing here is surprisingly informal

I love when books are set in the same world but not directly connected!! HI MAGDALENAAAA

wait the greenhouse scene is such a good, subtle way to show how de lafontaine is a predator

how the hell does the eternal prince fit into this

returning to my torture chamber

been skipping around and reading only specific chapters, can I still count it as a full read for this year idk 😭

struggling to remember where I left off every time I pick this up but it’s ok! we will prevail

yes i’m aware of how many books i’m starting but the other three don’t really count this one’s #real

if shane hollander’s autistic then grace henderson definitely is
