I think I’m reading this one? The last novella has the same title, but I’m reading the one about apprenticing the vampire and the synopsis matches this pretty well? Except for Diedre and Hunter being a thing? That hasn’t happened thus far as she’s still into Drew. Very confused about the order, these must have been rewritten into what I am reading now?

Got bored a couple times and put this down for a bit. The ending was interesting. I knew the witches were behind the lake. Kinda disappointed this one isn’t Kai’s but I knew it was coming because of what happened to Derrick’s parents.
