I get what the reviews want to say: Amora is GODDAMN ANNOYING. Well, she is still young (19) and there wasn't much in her life she had to endure until her magic went wrong and everything went down the stream (eventually because her decisions also weren't the yellow from the egg) ... still. GODDAMN ANNOYING.

And I totally pre-ordered The Wretched Divine Macmillan Deluxe Edition with metallic red edges, a fully illustrated case, designed endpapers, and interior spot art! And I'm going to order the german edition too. And btw there's a super cute edition of Rose In Chains with PRETTY cover and edges art I'll order too! ... Send help. Please. Or money.

Several vibes: Pirates Of The Caribbean, Pokémon Sun / Moon, Avatar (James Cameron AND even Airbender (though only watched a few episodes)) and mythology elements ... I guess I'll find some more, but this is FUN! I knew Adalyn Grace would never disappoint me and writes decent "spice" scenes (literally just kissing and fumbling until now). I don't know why, but the Pokémon Sun / Moon vibes are HARD

These books aren't as bad as I expected them to be! Well, the traitor could've been someone else (I had a really good idea in mind that sadly didn't come true), but therefore it caused COMPLETELY NEW problems! I'm curious about how that's going to go on in book two. And oh my, the spice?? Didn't expect that at all.

Feels more like a book for people around the age of 16 haha ... hah ... (insider joke)

Dark romance rom-com with a little bit of mafia and serial killer dust wrapped in a huuuge sparkly cloud of kinky sex with praise kink, knife play, breath play, spanking ... not enough characters left to describe what Aly and Josh actually do AHHH (his surname icks my Jurassic Park / World heart ... like, hearing Hammond makes me sooo aggressive)

I didn't expect Lights Out to be so dynamic. It's a new genre of dark romance? Like FUN dark romance? I am SO curious what's going to happen after the Brad problem now AHHH

It got better, but the fmc really doesn't feel like twenty. I am sure I wasn't acting like this two years ago ... on the other hand, even some grown ups still behave like teens ... well. Born in 1982, I'm convinced Miri Smith is just too old to remember her twenty year old self - it's more of a projection to her sixteen year old self.

The female protagonist Neyla doesn't act like she's twenty. She feels like a teenager with confused hormones. While meeting someone for the first time, finding them attractive is one thing - wanting to immediately jump with that person into bed is something entirely else :')

THAT ... we've got why choose, a threesome with a serial killer, twins who changed roles even as grown ups to cover up crimes or initiate them, a lot of family drama, scenes that pumped adrenaline through my body, new identities, lots of secrets and- AND SHE'S ENDING THE BOOK WITH A RED SENTENCE?? JAKE IS ALIVE?? EVAN IS ALIVE?? WTF

Serious opinion? If you watched Knives Out, the book feels ALMOST the same. Author dies, has a testament, good friend is getting some (several millions) of his money and a car (not a house, but still). Well, I liked the movie. I'm curious how this is going on here.

Of COURSE it is hard to work on your own mindset ... I'll need some more time. And eventually some more exercises. But it's the right way ^^'

Strangely, I feel better now. Four days of self-therapy. But I feel better.

I'm reading this book for two days and already feel calmer and more structured in "talking" with my internal family system. I don't scold them anymore or want to push them aside because we learn to get along now. Seeing myself as myself surrounded by a lot of different individual parts somehow made me understand stress reactions much better :')

The best way to realize there are ... tiny ... problems ... is tearing up and crying when you realize yourself: there are lots of dysfunctional thoughts spooking around in my own brain :]
